How do I cancel an existing order?

If you are using manual capture, you can cancel any uncaptured or partially captured orders. For further details see cancel an order.

Once an order has been canceled, Smartpay is not able to reverse or change this action.

Cancel an order through Merchant Dashboard

  1. Log in to the Merchant Dashboard

  2. Click on the Order that you wish to cancel (only uncaptured orders can be canceled)

  3. View Order details and press the Cancel button

  4. Press the Yes button

If you are using automatic capture, once Smartpay has approved an order, the order needs to be refunded if the shopper wants to cancel the order, even if the order hasn't shipped yet. For further details see How do I process a refund?
