How do I use Smartpay Bank Direct?

Smartpay Bank Direct can be used in the following steps:

• Download the Smartpay app and register your bank account in advance.

• Select Smartpay as the payment method at the checkout at a store where Smartpay is available.

• Follow the instruction on the screen and log into Smartpay.

• On the Smartpay checkout screen, select Smartpay Bank Direct as the payment method.

• When a message requesting to check the app and select a bank account is shown, please check the notification center of your device.

• Tap “Log in and approve the payment”, and verify with biometric identification or a PIN code.
  * If you use the Smartpay app on multiple devices, the verification can be done only on your main device.

• Select a bank account for the payment.

• Verify with biometric identification or a PIN code.

• The payment is complete.

* Please allow Smartpay app to send push notifications to your smartphone in order to use Smartpay Bank Direct. Please also disable the silent mode.

* A valid credit card is required to be registered as a backup payment method in order to use Smartpay Bank Direct. (~8 May 2024)
