What is Smartpay?

Smartpay is a buy now, pay later service. You can split your payment into 3 installments without any interest or fees. You can choose between credit card or Smartpay Bank Direct for installment payments. Smartpay is available at over 200 partner stores, supporting the diversification of consumer payment experiences.

In this blog, we will show you how to register for Smartpay.

Register from the App Store

Scan the QR code to proceed to the Smartpay app store page.

If you are unable to scan the QR code, please access the store from here.

Use Smartpay on e-commerce sites

Add your favorite items to your cart and proceed to the checkout screen.

Select "Smartpay" from the payment methods.

Complete your order in the store. *Please refer to the example image above.

Open the app. If you already have the app installed, it will open; if not, you will be directed to the app store page.

For first-time users, please follow the steps below to register:

You will be directed to the App Store page. *The image above is the iOS version.

Tap "Get".

Click "Start" at the bottom of the page to begin registering your basic information.

Enter your email address to register the app.

Enter your mobile phone number to receive a security code to register the app.

Next, create a password. Then enter the 6-digit security code that was sent to your registered phone number.

Next, enter the information required to use the app.

*Registration of personal information is required to use the app.

Set up notifications to receive beneficial shopping information and more.

*Notification settings can be changed later.

Please set up two-factor authentication.

Select your installment payment method. You can choose between credit card or Smartpay Bank Direct. *Currently, a credit card registration is required as a backup payment method for Smartpay Bank Direct.

These steps complete your registration and payment process! You can easily use installment payments or BNPL services through the app with your existing credit card or bank account—no paper applications or counter visits needed.
