What if my automatic payment failed?

Smartpay will send you an email letting you know an automatic payment has failed. Smartpay will automatically retry the failed payment in a couple of days. If you miss a payment, Smartpay will immediately pause your account and you won’t be able to buy anything else through Smartpay until your due payments have been settled. You may notice that after payment settlement, your spending limit might have decreased as well; this is because the Smartpay system takes into account a range of different factors, including late payments, in deciding spending limits to ensure safe and responsible spending.
