What if I don’t perform eKYC?

You can still do shopping using Smartpay without performing eKYC verification, but a limit can be imposed on your spending amount. If you are using Smartpay Bank Direct, your spending limit per transaction is set to 30,000 yen before eKYC verification, but it will be increased to 60,000 yen upon completion and approval of the verification.

*At some banks, it may still be less than 60,000 yen even after eKYC.

*eKYC verification is mandatory at some stores.
